Do you have the classic jewellery box on your dresser? Do you find it’s overloaded and disorganized? If so, you should read this quick blog post. 🙂
I don’t wanna say everyone has this issue. Perhaps you are super-organized and your jewellery box always looks as beautiful as a “Birks” store. I’m just going to talk about ME and MY issues. I, not you 😉 , end up dumping my necklace or earrings, bracelets, or whatever, into the jewellery case just to get it put away quickly at the end of a fun night or long work day. Out of sight, out of mind, right? Well, my problem occurs when I return to that jewellery box and have to deal with the tangled mess!!! Uggggggggh!
There are definitely a lot of answers to this problem. One answer is ‘over the door’ organizing. They are soft clear plastic pockets hanging on the back of a door. They can be good for keeping things separated so they don’t get too knotted and tangled, but they don’t display your jewels in a very attractive way. Jewellery is meant to be pretty and make you feel even prettier. These are items that caught your eye with a little twinkle and turned your head. Keep the romance going once you take them home, by giving them a beautiful spot to hang out. 😀
Another answer is in your beautiful, huge, walk-in closet…. Oh wait, you don’t have one? Ooops. 😉 Kidding. Most people don’t. IF you DO have one, the people who design closet organizers do an awesome job giving you specialized drawers and hanging space for all types of jewellery. This answer is NOT the most cost-effective. So if you are on a budget or simply just don’t have the closet space, this is NOT the answer for you either.
What I wanted to talk about today was a jewellery organizer that I just love. It is spacious, yet takes up very little space and it also doubles as a full-length mirror – yay!! Even if you have that beautiful walk-in closet or dressing room, you can still fall in love with this item. Check it out:
Beautiful detailing on the keyhole handle. The key is also removable to make it harder to others to open your private collection.
This one is not even close to being filled up. Just an example for you to see how useful this piece can be for you. All you need is a little corner and you can have your jewellery organized and at your fingertips, saving YOU time! No more fighting to untangle items. 🙂 This item came from a store called Kitchen Stuff Plus. There are so many locations, just look it up online to find the location nearest you. I think it is usually approximately just under $200, but I always get emails letting me know it’s on sale for half price. You should be able to find it for a little more than a $100, but it’s worth it in the long run. It is wooden and comes in this painted white look or in a dark wood finish.
I hope you make good use of the information in this post. Thanks for tuning in 🙂
